WHAT
FINANCE RATE CAN I GET? |
|
|
That depends
on your past credit history, the type of car you're
buying, and overall market conditions. However,
we can help you find low, competitive rates from
a variety of finance companies or credit unions
to fit nearly every budget and credit history. We
work with a couple of large finance companies that
routinely give our clients great finance rates on
our vehicles.

I
AM A NON-LOCAL CUSTOMER. WHO DO I CONTACT TO HAVE
MY VEHICLE SHIPPED? |
|
|
At Exclusive Auto
Imports, it is our main goal to have 100% customer
satisfaction even after the deal is done; we can
assist you in arranging transport of the vehicle.
We work closely with a couple of reliable shipping
companies that give us good rates due to the quantity
of vehicles we have transported. If you would
like us to recommend a company, or set up a delivery,
please let us know. You can also feel free to
contact your own shipping company to come pick
up the vehicle from us. While it is very possible
to find a lower quote from another company, please
keep in mind, that we will be unable to update
you with location or tracking information of your
new vehicle if you use a shipping company we did
not recommend. Up

HOW
FAR IN ADVANCE SHOULD I SCHEDULE THE TRANSPORT OF
MY VEHICLE? |
|
|
We recommend that
you schedule your shipment as soon as possible to
ensure that your car is moved within the time frame
which best meets your schedule. Usually, we are
able to have a truck assigned and on its way to
drop off your vehicle 1 to 7 days from the date
the vehicle is first available for pick-up (after
the funds have cleared). Up

|
HOW
MUCH WILL IT COST TO SHIP MY VEHICLE?
|
|
|
Pricing your transport
is determined by a few factors. The distance from
the pick-up to the destination, vehicle size, and
the level of service desired. These all play a part
in how your vehicle is quoted. Up

|
|
HOW
LONG DOES IT TAKE TO TRANSPORT A VEHICLE?
|
|
|
There
are two major factors in determining how long your
vehicle transport will take for delivery. First
is the distance between pick-up and delivery. Typically
the longer the distance for the transport, the longer
it will take the driver to deliver the vehicle.
In addition to the distance, the number of stops
the driver will have to make will also play a factor
in the delivery time. Unexpected delays can be caused
by traffic conditions, weather conditions, and roadway
conditions; rare mechanical problems can also add
time to the delivery. There are many State and Federal
regulations that transport drivers must comply with.
These regulations include restrictions on the amount
of daily and weekly time the drivers can log as
on duty and driving. Additionally the drivers are
required to conduct daily truck safety inspections
and do routine maintenance as needed. On average,
a delivery of up to 500 miles will take 1 to 3 days;
1,000 miles will take 2 to 5 days; 2,000 miles will
take 4 to 8 days; and coast to coast will range
from 7 to 14 days with 10 days being close to the
average. Please remember these are just estimated
times for delivery. We will try to provide an accurate
estimate of delivery as the truck assignment is
made.. Up

WHAT IS
THE DIFFERENCE BETWEEN AN OPEN & AN ENCLOSED
CARRIER? |
|
|
Generally,
an open carrier is similar to those you see transporting
cars to and from dealerships. Vehicles that are
transported in an open carrier are exposed to inclement
weather and road conditions, but that is a less
expensive alternative to an enclosed trailer. Enclosed
carriers are covered; the vehicles in transit are
not subjected to inclement weather or road conditions.
Enclosed carriers are recommended for custom, exotic,
or autos that have been especially cared for. Up

HOW
DO I PAY FOR TRANSPORTATION SERVICES OF MY VEHICLE? |
|
|
Exclusive
Auto Imports goes above and beyond most other dealers
and arranges for transportation of the vehicle if
you do not want to deal with the hassle. We contract
or recommend a few companies that we have had good
experience with, but they are not affiliated with
our company. For this reason, any shipping charges
are to be dealt with between you and the shipping
company. For your convenience, we have companies
that accept all major credit cards as well as other
forms of payment. In most cases, these companies
allow you pay a deposit fee, and then the rest of
the balance when they make the delivery if you do
not feel comfortable paying in full when the car
is picked up from our dealership. Generally, the
remaining balance must be paid via cash, certified
check, or money order (No credit card, checks, or
any other form of payment will be accepted upon
delivery). These details should be finalized between
you and the shipping company before the car is picked
up from our dealership. Up

WHAT
HAPPENS AFTER I DECIDE TO HAVE MY CAR SHIPPED? |
|
|
Once
you have decided on a shipping company you trust,
the next step is to place your shipping order. Contact
the shipping company and decide on what shipping
conditions would suit your needs (i.e. enclosed
vs. open trailer, date and address to be delivered,
etc). For your convenience, Exclusive Auto Imports
has every car ready to be shipped the day it is
put up for sale unless stated otherwise. The customer
service representative enters your shipping order
and your transport is immediately assigned to the
dispatch department. The dispatch department ensures
that your vehicle is picked up timely and delivered
safely. In most cases, E-mail notifications will
keep you informed as to the status of your move
or you will receive a phone call. The companies
that we recommend will be available to you for status,
updates, or for any questions that may arise. Again,
our main goal at Exclusive Auto Imports is complete
customer satisfaction and we are always willing
to assist in setting up the transportation arrangements
for our clients. Up

WHAT
STEPS ARE INVOLVED IN SHIPPING MY VEHICLE? |
|
|
Once
your order is placed and all paperwork submitted,
the transport of your vehicle will be scheduled
according to the available date you provide. After
a truck has been assigned, you will receive an email
with the estimated pickup date and time. The shipping
companies generally instruct the drivers to call
the customer 12 to 24 hours in advance of pick up
or delivery to establish a more accurate estimated
time of arrival and to work out specific directions.
When the driver picks up your vehicle from our dealership,
he will perform a detailed inspection of your vehicle
on a shipping form called a bill of lading. When
we release the vehicle, we need to sign this form
along with the driver of the truck verifying the
condition of the vehicle when it left our possession.
The same bill of lading will be present on delivery
so that you can re-inspect the car before the shipping
company releases the car to you. This allows you
to confirm if any damage has occurred to the vehicle
from the time we shipped it to the time you received
it. In the rare case that this does happen, the
shipping company is usually responsible for the
damage and will reimburse you for the repairs. Up

|
WHERE
WILL MY VEHICLE BE DELIVERED? |
|
|
The
companies that we use offer door-to-door service.
They will deliver it to your home, your office,
or any other place you desire. Keep in mind that
these are large trucks and sometimes they need to
deliver the vehicle to you in a nearby parking lot.
This is due to the typically large size of the trucks
and the inability to maneuver through many streets,
and under low bridges, wires, and branches. Do not
forget to inform the driver of any obstacles he
might encounter while dropping off your vehicle.
To decrease the risk of damage to your car, coordinate
an agreeable location for the delivery with the
transport company. Up

ARE
THE TRASPORT COMPANIES THAT EXCLUSIVE AUTO IMPORTS
USE LICENSED, BONDED, AND INSURED? |
|
|
Yes.
The companies that we use for our transporting needs
are licensed, bonded, and insured. In most cases,
they have adequate liability insurance and cargo
insurance that will protect your vehicle up to the
limit equal to the value of the vehicle. In the
rare case that a vehicle is damaged in transit,
standard insurance practices determine the value
of your vehicle - just as if it were damaged in
a traffic accident. For specific details regarding
their levels of coverage, please contact the shipping
company you choose directly. Up

I
SEE THAT YOU SELL UPGRADE PARTS FOR THE CAR I PURCHASED.
IF I BUY SOME UPGRADES, CAN I HAVE EXCLUSIVE AUTO
IMPORTS PACK THESE THINGS IN MY CAR SO I DON'T HAVE
TO PAY ADDITIONAL SHIPPING FEES FOR THE ITEMS? |
|
|
We
understand that large or heavy items, such as exhaust
systems or aerodynamic parts, are expensive to ship.
If you purchase aftermarket upgrades or OEM parts
from us, we will ship them within the vehicle to
save you the shipping fees on the individual parts.
We prefer not to ship purchased items inside a vehicle,
but we can do that if the client prefers this method.
Generally, the shipping company does not insure
items that are inside the car at the time of transport.
Also, these items may shift around (forcefully at
times) in the trunk or interior of the transported
vehicle and become damaged or damage the vehicle.
We will do our best to secure all parts to the best
of our ability, but any items left in the vehicle
are totally at the owner's personal risk. If you
do decide to place objects inside the vehicle, we
will pack them in the trunk area so they are out
of sight. Up

|
WHAT
HAPPENS IF I'M NOT AVAILABLE WHEN THE TRUCK COMES
TO PICK UP OR DELIVER THE VEHICLE? |
|
|
We
try to keep each customer well informed during the
entire shipping process. We instruct the drivers
to call the customer 12 to 24 hours in advance of
pick up or delivery to establish a more accurate
estimated time of arrival and to work out specific
directions. We ask that you make yourself as available
as possible. Please do not take off work or hang
around your home until you speak with the driver;
remember that sometime weather or traffic conditions
can alter the original delivery plan. It is a good
idea to stay in constant contact with the driver
as the delivery time approaches. In the event you
are not able to release or take possession of your
vehicle, you may appoint anyone to do this task.
We ask that you inform the shipper with the proper
information for contact in this situation. Up
